ENCHANTED BRIDES ~ WINTER / SPRING 2015
CLAIRE PETTIBONE
The lavish facades and stained glass
windows of Europe's most renowned
cathedrals inspired Claire Pettibone
Fall Collection entitled "Gothic Angel".
Keeping in tune with this season's
color trend, the collection saw several
gowns in pale blues with metallic
detailing, including a jaw-dropping
sheer blue gown overlaid with floral
embroidery. While the collection over-
flowed with eye-catching elements,
the real show-stopping details were
the backs.
AUSTIN SCARLETT
Austin Scarlett's fall 2015 wedding
dress collection takes us back to
the early definition of elegant bridal
gowns. The collection includes a ball
gown with silver ribbon details, a
mermaid-like dress with a ruffled skirt
and an off the shoulder, satin emerald
creation. The designer's attention
to detail was evident in his playful
striped skirts that added plenty of
drama and fun. A vintage cage veil
over long, loose curls would complete
this look
ROMONA KEVEZA LEGENDS
Keveza's 2015 Legends line displayed
her own unique touch and penchant
for exquisite, ultra-flattering silhou-
ettes. The collection boasted a diverse
line of gowns that ranged from simple
and elegant to demure and regal.
Each gown encapsulated a graceful
feel, showcasing soft feminine details
of point d'esprit lace, illusion neck-
lines, sheer sleeves and floral embroi-
dery. Clean, crisp bodices donning
chic bateau and sweetheart necklines
paired beautifully with voluminous
organza skirts, while illusion detail-
ing added a soft touch to sleek satin
gowns.
REEM ACRA
The fall collection titled `Let There Be Light' infused current trends (such as
crop tops and a touch of color and even a metallic strapless dress, with an
Angelina-style slit) with tried-and-true classics. The collection had richer
ball gown skirts and lots of flower details. Yet, even for the fuller pieces
crafted from thicker fabrics, there was a delicate finish with petals of flow-
ers and shimmering trains made of silk georgette trailing behind. Fabrics
were delicate and feminine that added grace to every gown.
