ENCHANTED BRIDES ~ WINTER / SPRING 2015

edo and a suit, Street describes. "The muted color of slate (gray/
navy) complemented the bridesmaids' dresses. It was a modern
fit with classic details." Mary Anne described the guys' look to
be "rather traditional," which fit with the "vintage garden" style
of their wedding. She says, "The color and style of the suits reso-
nated well with the theme."
Personality is another important aspect to take into consid-
eration when making suggestions for attire. "Hunter is a classic
guy with a more modern sense of fashion. [His] look was simple
while very fashionable and handsome," says Street. Hunter de-
scribes his own style as "traditional" and insists that "the classic
cut and color of the suit matched my style perfectly."
"When Hunter and Mary Anne came in, we discussed their
wedding day and the look they were going for. After hearing
what they wanted and knowing Hunter was a classic-yet-modern
kind of guy, we decided on the Slate Allure. The Slate Allure is .
. . classic in style yet modern in fit. Once he tried it all on in his
groom preview, they knew this was the perfect fit for their day,"
says Street. "The ties, on the other hand, were a bit trickier. They
knew they were looking for a more muted color palette for the
ties but just couldn't find THE one." Hunter even purchased a
few from local stores and brought those in to compare. "In the
end, we knew the tie Hunter needed and wanted didn't exist. So,
we had one made for him! I personally spoke with the manufac-
turer, and with Hunter and Mary Anne's assistance we designed
a custom tie for him. And it turned out fantastically! I loved see-
ing the photos of the complete finished product."
Street Tuxedo's service to Hunter and his wedding party tru-
ly went above and beyond the call of duty, including accommo-
dating their special needs since many of his groomsmen lived in
cities far from the home base of Nashville. "Hunter had several
out-of-town groomsmen, so we sent each of them the informa-
tion that we needed in order to complete a suit [order]. Then,
they emailed or called in that information. Once they arrived in
town for the wedding, they all tried on the suits and we made any
adjustments needed."
Street explains, "We also have a concierge service for in-
stances like this. We can deliver the suits, make onsite alterations
as well as steam suits, tie bow-ties and make any last-minute
tweaks. We want to make sure everything is perfect from the
tie to the cuff links and everything in between!"
Mary Anne and Hunter articulate their experience with
Street Tuxedo as "a pleasure to work with. They were incredibly
flexible. I would highly recommend Street Tuxedo to anyone for
their special day."
